Engineering

Moving up from the previous model to a 10-speed automatic transmission that allows for fast and smooth gear changes, the 2022 Acura MDX works on a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that provides enough power while remaining fuel-efficient. Its potent motor performs with 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. It features a standard front-wheel drive and an available all-wheel drive as an option.

The performance-focused, sportier Type S trim features a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that pulls with 355 horsepower and works on a standard all-wheel drive.
